MECHANIC / FLEET TECHNICIAN

Maintain, diagnose and repair class 8 over-the-road trucks and trailers

Fuchs Trucking is an over-the-road fleet of 85 Freightliner Cascadia trucks (model years 2015 and newer) and over 160 dry van trailers. We are looking for a technician capable of a wide range of skills to help maintain this fleet. Tasks will range from tire service to more in-depth engine work. Training and update classes offered in order to keep technicians up on their skill sets.

Job duties will include the following:
• Engine service
• Tire service
• Minor electrical repair
• Brake repair

 • Preventative maintenance on company vehicles
• Brake foundation repair
• ABS diagnostic
• Tire repair and replacement
• Welding Skills
• Clutch replacement
• Electrical diagnostic skills on trucks and trailers
• Emission diagnostics/repair of EPA 10 , GHG 14 , GHG 17 engines
• CDL for road testing (company training available)
• A.P.U. trouble shooting and repair
